I got 23K unsecured from HSBC - They were outstanding. This is one of the few banks (maybe the only one) that has an understanding of pilots studies. They have a special loan scheme (2% above UK base rate) called Professional studies loan . whenever you go to your local branch insist on having some information about this, even if the person you meet is not aware of that scheme.
