The 5 min limit is for TBO (Time between overhauls ??)
I have seen an IO540 fitted to a fixed wing (can't recall the model) and the turbo allowed the MP to go to 33", the TBO wasn't 2200 though.
There will be drive train weak spots; belts, MRGB, etc.
