Expecting nations who subscribe to a normal understanding of democracy wonder why, when they try to lay their norms on a "rogue" state, it doesn't take long for "One man, one vote, once" to arrive.
Regretfully, brutality is a prerequisite for dictators, else they would not be dictators for long. Look around the world, even with so called "democratic" nations, where the process is corrupted into a "democratic dictatorship" and any opposition is intimidated, murdered or worse, is endemic.
Rhodesia was a very beautiful and prosperous country, which must now try to re-enter the world community and take it's rightful place. Zimbabwe has the potential to be a model for all of Africa on how nations should be run.
