there are plenty of faa medical examiners in the UK. . I don't recall the process for an initial (mine was a long time ago) but it won't be onerous. Online registration, an online form (google: medexpress) , your passport and the fee is probably all it takes. The receptionist / website of most practices will have the process to follow.
