I am currently offering a Hawker 800B for sale on an exclusive mandate.
Several aircraft brokers in Europe and USA have been contacted by an 'Italian' sounding person going by the name Gianni Brin or versions thereof. This person purports to be representing a Norwegian company owning the aircraft that actually I am representing. He claims the aircraft is in Marseilles and needing to hire a crew, at good rates. Seems that once contracts are done, and all looks real, there is the inevitable call for funds to get Norwegian validations once the crew are on route....this is what one of the aircraft brokers told me.
If anybody has heard of this person, or of this specific scam...if it is a scam, please let me know. PM
I'd like to get to the bottom of this and if it is fraud, get this person dealt with in the appropriate way.....he is using French and Spanish telephone numbers and a Gmail account.
In any case....beware......not all well paid jobs are real I suspect.
