Have often used that wonderful quotation myself - and how true ! - you cannot judge the past by the standards of the present.
Now, can anyone identify the source of another quotation which I have used
ad nauseam: "
We each (all?) had to fight the war we were given" ? ... A "Search this Thread" fingers "kookabat, date 4/7/09, Page 46, #913, as the first user - but the text of that Post makes no mention of the words.
