Pay cuts for front line staff (in this case well trained and experienced pilots; one reason why we passengers fly CX/ KA) because the management placed the wrong fuel and currency bets? Guys, get out as long as you can. If no serious management change is coming immediately, this was it for CX/ KA.
Buy the way: The loss of pilots (be it 10, 20 or 200) is one thing. But how on earth will they attract good replacement? They won't. No bus drivers, you walk. Or take a different bus!
