My wife worked as well and we arrived in HKG with two small children. Don't gob off about 'colonialism'. Most domestic helpers are employed by Hong Kong Chinese. The salary we paid her bought her a house in the Philippines and supported a large number of indolent relatives.
You are just as much a 'servant' flying, I presume, Swire's aircraft for a salary.
