I did mine a long-long time ago.
Probably before all of you were born.
Back then there weren't the tools available to help you.
You had to sink or swim on your own.
Looking back on it, it's amazing that I made it.
Sheer bloody minded determination, and damned luck.
I had a part time job as dispatch rider delivering British Rail Red Star packages in the evening.
This was my relaxation period.
Riding my motorcycle around the London train stations from 7 till 11.
A man could really think, and get motivated for tomorrow.
I couldn't remember all the required material.
Being a bear of very little brain that I am
So I had to take one or two at a time.
In order to get them done, I had to travel to other exam centers.
I often left London in the wee hours, ride thru the night, take a test, and then ride home and go to work.
It was a very lonely period in my life.
Complete isolation.
I didn't have the money or time for friends.
Home life was more like dosing at my brothers flat.
Who was basically doing the same as me, but in Law.
I didn't enjoy reading, and thought of it as pointless trivia.
Way back when in olden times, we had to write essays.
But looking back I'm rather proud of my performance.
But I was highly motivated.
The best motivator sometimes is that fact that if you fail, you will be an abject failure for the rest of your life.
I had nothing to fall back on, as I given my aircraft maintenance career the boot.
Failure was something that was completely unacceptable to me.
So if your in the depths of despair with this.
It's just a moment in time.
It too will pass.
As you will too.
Good luck.
