I'd agree here. Your accuser can have way more sway relegating you to an ineffectual defense and more trouble than it's worth. Here's an "alleged" example of an an expat wrongly accused paying the price You gotta protect your backside in these parts. Good call on the accused FO's part. EK will never support you. They always take the 'in the best interest of the corporation' or some similar bollocks line as their first defense.
Don't expect support.
