The only way I would do an integrated 0 to (f) ATPL in one place is if I lived there.
That way you could have a part-time job, to keep your head above water.
I couldn't spend all that time in rented digs, in a rented car, in a rented country.
It's not easy going away for that length of time.
Also what happens when things go bad.
Like all relationship, they most often sour after a while.
But what if they have your money?
They got you by the short and curlys.
I have absolutely no problem with getting a PPL from any country, and building flight time in as many exotic locations as possible. If I had my time again, I'd like to fly in lots of countries. But when you've done your ATPL writtens, and have 150+ hours, it's time to get serious.
Why would you want a Spanish ATPL, unless your a Spaniard?
Get a license from the country in which you seek employment in.
I don't know much about Spanish schools. I looked into Fly in Spain for a FAA to EASA conversion. I looked at FTE Jerez's 'flight deck plus' program. Both were satisfactory. The only group I didn't gell with was Group One in Malaga and their American subsidiary Space Coast Aviation at Merrit Island FL. Something just didn't feel right. I am suspicious of stool pigeons posting comments. The place felt depressing to me.
Where ever you decide to go spend money at. I recommend you first pay them a visit. Heck make it a vacation and go visit them all. You can not gague it from the internet. You must be there in person. Only you can tell yourself which place is right for you.
