Cx “despatcher” makes 12k a month to start, 5 percent prov fund or less, and the medical is the low end of qhms plus the other cx bennies. Hours are variable and typical you will start with the night shift. Yes you basically get the flight plan from the system, check over the numbers, weights, weather, and notams and leave it for the captains who sign for it.

This explains a lot as I couldn't really find much online, though it seems pretty much what I expected.
Do you know the career path for CX dispatchers? I heard of the post of Senior Dispatchers and I guess they involve more in preparing flight plans. I wonder what's "above" senior dispatchers
