There's potential at both airports, and that's the point. It's not so easy to say 'STN will definately pass MAN', it's just too close to call either way, and it's not going to be the easy ride being made out.
MAG has the overall aspiration to make MAN a top 10 European airport. Hardly indicative of a leadership that envisages STN overtaking MAN any time soon....
