Yes...STN will run them a bit closer in the short term..At present the gap is about 2m so it will probably be reduced a little.
STN has it`s own growth travail`s over Winter perhaps with RYR in the form of their announced reductions due crewing issues.
However medium & long term,yes STN will almost certainly cruise ahead being a London area airport.
