Astraeus and Bond are two seperate companies, yes they are affiliated but both offer different services even though they are in the same building. That is how they have to be treated. The fact of the matter is one helps the other by supplying pilots, so interm both companies are making money just differently. Astraeus flies the punters and Bond supplies the jockies. Now is that not a good business solution. They have seen there is a market and are trying to capture it.
People can moan and groan all the want. If you want to do the type rating then do it, else keep trying to get a job the normal way. There is two sides to a coin!!!!
Times are changing, that is why business (and airlines) have to adapt to the ever changing market. Its been around ever since Moses was playing scabble for Egypt.
