I *think* (I could be wrong; money is my thing rather than airlines in particular) that in this case that would technically be fine? They would still be a legit airline and not *legally* insolvent, so there would be no legal problem?
The problem is that everyone would expect insolvency to follow, and may start requiring cash for airport fees etc.
It seems to me though that this airline has value to other people.
Until I see anything suspicious like 8 planes actually taking off from Doha, or the 225Xs to Ibiza being delayed until after 0000 for no obvious reason, or bookings actually stopping, I'll believe that someone will take it over! Both the names mentioned seem like good fits.
