Tertiary effect of pedal
Here's a puzzle for you:
In forward level flight in a US helicopter with AP and SAS off you put in a little pedal (let's say left). The aircraft yaws left, then it rolls left. Then it pitches...but which way?
Then you try it with right pedal...what happens?
Better still, why?
