Well, in my UK EASA PPL, in Section XII Flight Radiotelephony Operator's Privileges, there is the remark 'None'. However, I have English LP level 6 in section XIII. My take is we (myself, the flight school) simply forgot to complete the UK FRTOL exam...

I spoke to CAA a while ago and they
a) confirmed I would be allowed to exercice radiotelephony operator's privileges OUTSIDE of the UK (I fly across continental Europe, so no issue here) given my German FRTOL
b) would not be able to include the FRTOL into the licence as this is not an UK FRTOL...

There are three different German FRTOLs. One for VFR communications in German, another for VFR communications in English and the third one for both VFR & IFR communications. So, as I understood it, while progressing towards an IR I need to either go for the German FRTOL or rather to go for the UK FRTOL and having the latter included in my licence...
