Given that Joyce is vehemently opposed to getting any more A380's (stated "over my dead body"), then this rumour has no hope of flying.
The three major obstacles for this are: 1. Excessive fuel burn, 2. Excessive maintenance costs, & 3. Diluting the premium product.
