Thanks Tagron - The problem being that although there are many reports on DC3 movements in and out of Croydon in the years quoted his argument seems to be that they are ALL WRONG ! He insists they were not DC3's but would have been C47's and other variants of the C47. I don't know if its possible to define a TRUE DC3 but if anyone can confirm with some details or link an 'original' DC3 at Croydon any year from 1940 to its closure date then that's what I am now seeking.
