Shhh...don't tell everybody.
?...but how does it get so crowded when it's almost in the middle of nowhere ?
Despite appearances it's not really in the middle of nowhere...aside from local hotels such as the Park Inn directly opposite, and various B&Bs there's actually quite a bit of residential development tucked away behind the garage over the road and further east along the north side of the Bath Road. There are also housing estates up the road opposite the pub that leads up to Sipson (the A408/Sipson Road).
