Not-withstanding the effort and expense required for the recruitment and induction processes, Chinese companies expect their staff to be entirely devoted to the cause. The fact that you're moonlighting from another job is not a situation that would be looked on favourably.

I agree : no way. The system is designed for a full time fixed term contract. I have to add that China is slowly but progressively becoming a place where it is more difficult to complete all the recruiting process...restrictions on work permits, suspensions of recruiting for some airlines, more pressure on the screening of foreign captains...
