Your overall point just seems irrelevant, so long as the operation isn't loss-making does it really matter if they're "going through the motions?". SEN wouldn't be their only base with zero or low growth over a number of years. I'm also pretty damn sure EZY would not be locked in beyond the first break clause, that contract would have been loaded in EZY's favour.
