I was just responding to satumare's post.Yes I have a few good friends who are with SQ.Although they are doing the commuting thing, some of them have expressed the need to 'balance' their life.
Granted, some of them are owning ranches here in Malaysia with the price of a CBD flat, but the quality of life is very subjective to us Malaysians.We are used to growing up in spaces that some Singaporeans can only dream of.Again, I am just expressing my opinion based on my observation.Indeed, there will be no exodus like millerscourt rightfully say as the forex factor (1 Sin dollar = RM2.2) is the sweetener to stay with SQ.
A move to Air Asia would mean a significant drop in their earning capacity compared to SQ, but when push come to shove, the calling of your own home will be hard to resist.SQ should count their blessing on the available Malaysian workforce who are there & not treat them like second class citizens......but then again they treat verybody with a good shafting nowadays......
