Given the rise and rise of the traditional Costas and Balearics over the last few years and the explosion in flights across the board this news probably warrants its own discussion.
Capacity does seem to be an issue, I have a few days off coming up and given the poor UK weather was looking to head off somewhere, anywhere hot. EZY wanted £45 to Ibiza from Southend, TOM £49 from Gatwick or Stansted, MON £40 from Gatwick and even BA only £69. Have a look, those sort of fares are out there. Thing is, unless you pay stupid money there's nowhere to stay.
