Hmmmm. This is NOT simply a "question of sexual orientation." Gender dysphoria is an actual mental/emotional illness with serious consequences, among them severe depression that leads to an 800% higher suicide rate. There are many many physical, mental, and emotional conditions much less severe than gender dysphoria that disqualify people for military service. Check this
