First, the rest of Europe dropped the ban many months ago, and so TUI will presumably have accommodation booked which could be diverted to the UK.
Secondly, some people have continued to travel from here via, say, Belgium so there is already a market. Personally I would prefer a winter holiday there, but mind you, I wouldn't go anywhere in the Med in summer.
