Bill's wife Jill comes to our course reunions - big one coming up next year, though for 21 Academy rather than 84 Pilots. Our other sailors were Concrete Boots, now in CASA, and Tom Hopeless who went to the airlines after failing Trackers like Bill.
I had a minor part in the training of Vincenzo di P (known as Nick da Petrol) who has gone on to bigger things after leaving the navy, and also in Midshipman Skinsbin who is still doing big things but as a crab.
