EasyJet at SOU
So easyJet seem to be doing exactly what Flybe did to try to negotiate lower landing fees. Using the airport only 28miles away to apply pressure.
If this was not the case why does easyJet not fly from Cardiff (next To their Bristol base), or other similar cases? Flying from two heavily overlapping catchment areas if it is not London is madness for any business and will not be sustainable. It either means the end of BOH eventually or the temporary use of SOU to get a better deal at BOH.
If I was BOH I would be doing everything possible to ensure easyJet stay firmly focused on one airport in this catchment.
