In view that they are wet leased Qatar must have a huge "back up" of crews to keep 9 A320s flying 2 or 3 times a day 6 or 7 days a week with hotel accommodation ect and does anyone know who is doing the maintenance and ground handling of the planes ? If WW and Co are willing to go to all that expense I fear the Mixed Fleet are on a hiding to nothing in spite of their miserable contracts. Hope I'm proved wrong,has anyone flown on a Qatar A320 doing a BA service during the troubles ?I bet they don't pay for their Sandwiches and drinks and that will be an embarrassment for BA when the troubles are over.
