Harry, I always used to check first, if unable with the disclaimer 'it depends on how much they have to do post landing'. If flight was late, never. Now I don't bother after getting yelled at more than a few times for even daring to suggest and 'Don't I know the OM-A' well actually no because until about 3 months ago we had zero access to it except the copy kept in the flight deck.
Now it's all about keeping my head below the parapet until I can punch out in a few months...
