So stripping out all of the fantasy posters what is Southend's true potential passenger capacity? Think of the big picture and allow for road access, terminal expansion and remodelling, additional car parking locations, runway and stand capacity.
Would you be happy at expansion at any price for that Luton experience or would you prefer the existing Southend experience?
I haven't been to Southend since the terminal was moved but I was struck by the feeling that SEN was located in the wrong area in the middle of residential streets and had poor local road access into the airport so I am sure there would come a point when the locals kick up a fuss if they are caught up in airport traffic spilling out into local roads.
