Notable that airport ops got 25 T3 arrivals onto T1 stands or remote T2. So, when it has to be done... it can be done. No 'no div' NOTAM was issued and nothing diverted to LPL or LBA. Of the arrivals, only the BA shuttle got cancelled (as if they need an excuse).
So, in effect, that was 25 diversions that also used the airport facilities, albeit with the massive knock-on effects of a congested infrastructure.
