Most passengers yesterday were actually fine with what happened yesterday, many took to social media to praise how calm, professional and efficient staff were.
I think the only issue yesterday was the airlines and their dealing with the queues afterwards. It seems not many were given clear information on rebooking and things like accommodation if they flew out today and such, which, would be chaotic in any airport as its a large task rebooking thousands of passengers. I just don't think there is a 'right' course of action that will please everybody, so, you just have to take it as it comes.
