While the greed of those professional businesses linking umpteen hundred images stored on photobucket all for free while selling on ebay so raking in the max profit for themselves is OK....
Sad that as usual the minority abusing the "service" have wrecked it for those just linking a few casual images - but then such is normality these days.
On other forums some have also suggested Imgur as a replacement.
Strange to report the T&C's of imgur expressly forbid third partly linking.
So you can hardly say you have not been warned when they do the same.
In short lots of people have had it good for a long time and the real costs of PB hosting images can only be met by force feeding you ads (to be met with ad blockers) - or by someone actually having to pay.
After all if image hosting/storage was so cheap and you can do it for free why don't all the forums self-host images.........
