I shall clarify, only the spotting community think that a few delays will lead to disaster. FlyBe have plenty of their own tech delays as do every other airline. There isn't an operation out there that doesn't have it's share of hideous delays.
My point is, it's only on here that I read comments like 'this partnership won't last long unless Stobart Pull their finger out'
Comments like that are firstly misguided (as I pointed out, the writer doesn't know the nature of the operation) but also its pure melodrama.
Yes it was a shame there were delays. The passengers were, without question frustrated and some will likely complain, but the reality is these things can happen and it won't be something that brings about a major downfall just because a flight got delayed or cancelled.
I think the Jota aircraft seems to have a few tech issues, but old aircraft often do, but generally speaking my sense is Stobart have good reliability and punctuality
