Retrofitting altitude hold to a PA28

Sorry Guys. It's me and that Archer again!

I am looking to upgrade from my PA28-181 to something faster and whilst plenty of nice aircraft are available the lack of altitude hold is a common theme.

The STEC30 autopilot offers what I need with heading and tracking facilities being augmented by altitude hold but little information seems to exist as to what's involved in fitting and at what cost in the UK.

FAA STC SA0925/AC-D is valid under EASA STC 10016278 so the installation should not present legal issues but I am looking to compare the cost of retrofitting against hanging out for an aircraft with altitude hold already installed.

As always any advice appreciated.
