Lengthy agreed-to terms undoubtedly let PB stop free hosting. But do they really let them mess up all your third party writings with that lying defamatory image?
Lying, in the sense that for a lot of us it won't be "temporary," because we're not going to pay the ransom.
Lying, in the sense it is showing a dial needle swung past 100%, when my free hosting usage, per their report, is 1%.
Defamatory, because it makes it seem like I ran past some data storage limit when I wasn't even close, and not doing something about it.
Photobucket has always been difficult to use, but am I the only one w/ at least a few photos (left on) there that are part of message forum posts, etc.?
Wow! Seconds after I originally posted this on another forum, PB removed the "temporary" sentence and reduced the image size. (I do have a camera picture of it...which I can share when set up w/ another host.)
note: at current time posters on two forums are indicating some Photobucket photos still link normally. Maybe it depends on user's attitude...or whether he bought enough offers of 50% off for large prints on canvas.
