Although there is undoubtedly investment in aprons and parking stands this year, the mantra in the terminal seems to be to cram as much as possible into as little space as possible. Still, GIP will be gone just as soon as they can sell EDI and some poor unsuspecting pension or sovereign wealth fund will be stuck with the massive bill to provide the terminal and customer infrastructure that should have been there to cope with current traffic levels.
Are you suggesting the airport is up for sale?
Who would have the money to buy it then spend the extra money (if you go by Manchesters example £1 Billion) on a brand new terminal? It would take decades I suspect to recoup that...
