I see Air Canada/Rouge are trying to make American Airlines on time performance look good again this year. Problem seems to be with departures from MAN - of the 10 flights so far this season 6 inbounds have touched down no more than 5 minutes late, but none have left on time. Note that I am looking at airborne times, but have allowed 15 minutes taxi time. 3 have made up the time by the time they land back in Toronto, but pretty poor overall so far.
I should declare a vested interest - I'm using them to get to Winnipeg in 3 weeks time, and am increasingly glad that there are 2 more Air Canada flights to Winnipeg after the one we are supposed to connect onto! By my reckoning, using Air Canada's advertised minimum connection time at Toronto of 1h15 we would have missed 7 out of 10 connections! Fortunately it is a proper end to end booking, not a self-connect so assume they will just stick us on the next flight.
