Not a regular flyer from BHX, but when I do, I've noticed FR and BE on terminal (Eurohub) stands but not using airbridges, yet ZB and TCX using remote parking with bus transportation. I would have thought smaller aircraft ( BE) and those not wanting to pay for use of bridges (FR) would be better remote parking to the west.
Then put ZB, TCX etc with higher proportion of PRMs on stands with airbridges.
A small extension of Eurohub towards the runway should provide an additional 4 contact stands. Less bussing, less handling staff, more efficient use of limited resources.
