Canberra Alternate
Canberra fog this am so some diversions.
They seem to be going to Melbourne rather than Sydney which is closer.
Both Mel and Syd have excellent weather.
Not sure why they go to more distant airport?
Is it a difference in hold requirement for Syd vs Mel, or airport cost. Can't imagine gate availability would be reason but maybe.
