I can see fares below £200 on KLM with a stop in Amsterdam in each direction, but the nerd in me wants the BHX-GRZ non-stop flight
As a comparable, BHX-GOT costs £89 one way if booked 3 weeks in advance. Granted this is only 75% of the distance of BHX-GRZ, so if we pretend costs are proportional to distance flown basis, BHX-GRZ would cost maybe £120 one way when booked sufficiently far in advance
I realise that a 2-hour RJ flight has to come at a price, but it seems puzzling that whether one books 24 hours ahead or almost 6 months in advance, the fare should begin at £300 one-way or £600 return.
At a guess, it will be because JLR will block book on this route on every flight. Even 6 months out they will have their allocation which will push up the fares for normal paying customers.
