Slightly more than MAN-IAH and vv based on my casual observance of the figures. CAA monthlies will give detailed information.
In other news there were 80 transfer pax on Virgin's San Francisco today, further evidence of MAN's growing role as a hub, given the right products and marketing.
We can begin to see that you don't necessarily need to have a big based airline to become a hub airport. Just as ebay sells no goods of its own and Uber owns no cabs, the business world today works by finding what consumers need and networking them to multiple providers. That's what can happen at any airport with a large and diverse route network, even without an anchor carrier. It's the new industrial revolution - Manchester is once again showing the world how it's done!
