Pay Increases ?
Gottem 2 Dollar, you asked.... "Does anyone think the current GA climate could withstand pay increases,Not that im saying the award is great, but with a over regulated industry can GA survive?"
Unfortunately I am old enough to recall the drama when the first award hit the industry. Predictably the operators cried poor and said the industry would never survive.
Well the industry survived, and grew, because people and freight still needed to be shifted and using aeroplanes was still the best way to do it, even if you had to pay the pilots. That was approximately 30 years ago.
If you could just stop the deluded from prostituting themselves flying for shonky operators that only pay pilots by the hour to fly cross hired aeroplanes, then reputable operators would be able to pay more, both to their pilots and their shareholders.
