Many AUS folks have recently been taken into the major jet airlines holding almost exclusively SAAB hours. Seems like an open door at the moment.
The initial training is tough, the checks are rigorous, and the FMS doesn't fly everything for you. (VNAV not coupled to A/P) You'll probably log 4-600hrs per year, and most direct entry guys stare down a command within 6-12 months.
