Every airport has peak times when the queues are longest especially during peak seasons and at the busiest time to go through the airport. so to single out the airport on that is wrong. As a regular user I know it gets busy but that's not constant throughout the day, so it's not bursting at the seams. If you look at the numbers of aircraft movements every hour you can see the peak departure and arrival times and other times when it is below 50% of the peak levels. If you don't like it then pop on down to Newcastle or get a train, good luck.
