A man has been arrested on arrival at Albury Airport after allegedly making a bomb threat on board a Virgin flight from Sydney.
Police attended the airport around 9.20am after receiving information a note had been found in the toilet area of Virgin Australia flight VA1174, the contents of which are as yet unknown.
A spokeswoman for NSW Police told 9news.com.au the incident was a "prank", and everyone on the flight is safe.
When the plane landed passengers were forced to evacuate by jumping through windows into the arms of waiting police officers.
