Not a "late take-off" at all. As a regular user of Birmingham I can tell you that the answer is because the Ryanair lined up from taxiway B. The Emirates will have used the full length from A. Many shorthaul departures from BHX depart from B when on 15 and E when on 33.
Thank you for your reply ! I just checked the distance between taxiway A and B. Its 430 meters between them. Big difference
