Or why the only viable link to the UK's biggest container port (Felixstowe) was built as an "A" road with roundabouts instead of proper interchanges. Only in the UK would such a short sighted decision have been made.
There are countless other examples but we shouldn't to turn this thread into a topic on woeful UK infrastructure!
